Tor worked with interior designer Rebecca Hughes on this project which involved extensive soft furnishings throughout the house. The four poster bed in the guest bedroom was completely and sympathetically restored with new curtains, valance and pelmets. New curtains, all full length, interlined with handmade headings were installed in many rooms, and antique sofas and armchairs were given new leases of life. Cushions, window seats, throws, bed valances added the finishing touches. It was a joy to bring new life to such beautiful building, and Tor relished the opportunity to work with beloved old pieces of furniture as well as introducing new.
