OUR STORY
Westcot House began in 2013, in a house of that name in Oxfordshire. I had been a magazine editor, and with my children at prep school I started making cushions, memo boards and Christmas fair treasures, then curtains for friends. Word spread, and the business grew from there.
Today we make exquisitely finished furnishings for clients across London and the home counties, and offer a full interior design service. Our work has featured in House & Garden, Homes & Gardens and The English Home magazine, among others.
What hasn’t changed is how we work. I collaborate with a small group of incredibly talented makers, from seamstresses who finish every hem by hand to upholsterers, fitters and cabinet makers. All share a love of detail, and I’m proud that our work helps keep these traditional crafts alive.
I’m also lucky to have a growing studio team around me, who look after everything from samples and orders to drawings, presentations and fitting dates. Together with our freelance designers, we can take on more, while still giving every client the same personal attention.
Every project, large or small, begins with a conversation and usually a visit to your home, so we can understand the house, the brief and the way you live. Whether we’re making a single pair of curtains or redesigning a whole house, we’ll take you through each stage, and we’re happy to work alongside your architect or builder.
